Mer Soleil Equestrian Ranch is a five acre horse boarding, lessons and training facility at 14345 Tripp Rd N in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida, about fifteen minutes from the Wellington show grounds. Everything here exists because a horse needed it or a rider asked for it. A 100 by 200 arena dragged to a clean sweep, six mirrors down the long side, nineteen stalls across two barns, and twelve paddocks that get used every day. Endel Ots, traveling reserve for the United States dressage team at the 2024 Paris Olympics, keeps and trains his own horses here twice a week.

How much does horse boarding cost in Loxahatchee?
Boarding is quoted per horse after a tour, because full, half and dry board are priced differently and multiple horses receive a discount. Rates are not published because the right tier depends on how much of the daily care you want to keep. Tours are by appointment and you leave with a number for your horse.
What is the difference between full, half and dry board?
Full board covers everything: daily feeding, clean stalls, turnout and daily eyes on your horse. Half board splits it, so feeding and turnout are shared with staff and you keep the rest. Dry board gives you the stall, the paddock and the facility while you handle all of the daily care yourself.

What size is the riding arena?
The main arena is 100 feet by 200 feet with six large mirrors down the long side. It is dragged for dressage, jumping and polo practice.
How many stalls are there, and how big are they?
There are nineteen stalls across two barns, one of them brand new: twelve indoor and seven outdoor. Every stall is 12 feet by 12 feet.
How much turnout does a horse get?
There are twelve outdoor paddocks for grazing and company, and every horse gets turnout. How much depends on your horse and your board tier, which is one of the things a tour settles.
Do you offer riding lessons for beginners?
Yes. Lessons run as private one on one coaching, group classes and holiday camps, taught by accredited instructors and quoted against your goals rather than sold as a package tier.
How young can a child start riding lessons?
Riders start at four years old on a lead line, which builds trust and technique before a child rides independently.
What disciplines can I train for here?
The arena is set up for dressage, jumping and polo practice, and the round pen handles groundwork and lunging. Riders schooling for competition and riders on their first lead line share the same facility.
Is the property monitored at night?
Yes. A security camera system covers the barns and paddocks around the clock, and the footage is there whenever you want to look in on your horse.
Is there somewhere for parents to sit and watch a lesson?
Yes. There is an observation lounge beside the arena with retractable shades, seating and a clear view down the long side.
Is there a discount for more than one horse?
Yes. Discounts are available when you board multiple horses. The exact figure is part of the quote you get after a tour.
Who teaches the lessons?
Lessons are taught by accredited instructors. Separately, dressage rider Endel Ots keeps and trains his own horses at Mer Soleil twice a week; he was the traveling reserve for the United States dressage team at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He does not teach the lesson programme.
